Kariza was my how-do-I-pay-for-my-last-semester-of-college business!
In the summer of 2007, my mother and I opened a women’s apparel and jewelry kiosk in The Woodlands Mall with a $15K initial investment. After working together throughout the summer, she handed over the reigns and allowed me to run the business until the next year at which time I was successful at selling the business to a new owner.
We achieved $227,000 in annual sales from only 50 SF of retail space and had the time of our lives working together.
